The Star reports that after spending a limited period of time working in Nairobi, James Kifo Muriuki confronted his wife as he was traveling back to Tharaka Nithi.

She had been told to come clean and tell him about every man she had slept with while he was away, per his instructions.

He pummeled her and then pushed the mixture into her genitalia with a knife. In addition, he added super glue, salt, and pepper.

He allegedly taped her mouth and ears, left her, and killed her.

What Happened to him after the act? 

In May 2020, a Chuka Magistrate sentenced James Kifo Muriuki to 50 years in prison for hitting his wife.

Muriuki was accused of assaulting and severely injuring his wife as well as supergluing her genitalia.

He had pleaded not guilty to charges of sexual assault, attempted murder, committing an unnatural act, and acting indecently toward his wife in June 2020.
