Martha Karua is one of the most prominent politicians in Kenya and she has over the years been active in politics.

It is with no doubt that the Narc kenya party leader hails from Mt Kenya region specifically, Kirinyaga county.

When she was running as the Azimio la Umoja deputy Presidential candidate, it was put on public that her parents are Jackson Karua and Josephine Wanjiru. 

However in the past, there was allegations that Karua is the daughter of the late Ikolomani MP, Musa Amalemba.

According to the standard, due to the speculations, in Kakamega County, residents have always been smiling when her name is mentioned, with elderly Luhyas smiling with a knowing wink, as if to say “she is ours”

As per the report, one of Amalemba’s son revealed that Karua has never went to their village and their father never told anything to do with the latter as their sibling.

Samuel Amalemba told the standard that after hearing the news, they had to look at their father’s documents so as to see if Karua is her sister but they got nothing to prove it.
