At the age of 84, a Kenyan man named Kimani Maruge stunned everyone by enrolling himself in a basic school.

Maruge was a man of “means, authority, and power” when he attracted the interest of significant local and international organizations and figures at the time of his death at the age of 90. He had advanced to become the most renowned octogenarian among his generation.

“According to the norm, Maruge’s family has been abandoned, and whatever care they did receive while he was alive has swiftly disappeared.”
His mausoleum is deserted and situated in the far western corner of his farm. His former residence has weak walls and a leaky roof that has seen better days.
