A group of at least ten stray dogs caught people’s attention while sniffing and growling at a mysterious bundle in the heart of Eldoret town six years ago on a beautiful afternoon while wagging their tails in enthusiasm.
The dogs escaped when people gathered around the abandoned baby, frightening many who were already startled by the sight of a newborn baby wrapped in a blanket.
Both the infant’s appearance and wailing were normal. She had just been there, at most, a couple of weeks, according to Bishop Wilson Kurui of the Jesus Love Ministry.
As soon as the baby girl was taken away, Kurui was notified that she was being taken to the children’s home he managed by a group of people.
He remarked, in response to a question concerning the unfortunate incident that took place in December 2015, “We have never understood why the rescuers chose this children’s home and not the hospital or police station, but God’s intentions are never coincidences.
The bishop rushed the infant to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital, where medical staff verified her health and determined her age to be two weeks. The bishop then started thanking God for saving the baby’s life.
According to reports, the minister and his wife Christine brought the unharmed infant to the Eldoret Central Police Station, where they reported it and were subsequently given temporary custody of the child by the police.
When the infant was residing at the Kurui-managed children’s home, Hope and Love, Feel A Bucket with Love, Genesis Family 254, and other amazing contributors offered to supply formula, milk, food, medications, and other necessities.
The whereabouts of the little angel would be quickly discovered by going to the orphanage.
Older children and staff members quarreled over who got to watch her after she won over the crowd. The young woman, who had never left the center, was revered and adored in the same way that angels are.
Here are her photos 6 years later:
