The former defense cabinet secretary Hon Eugene Wamalwa while speaking in Githurai, Kiambu county asked residents the following question about president Ruto as this is how they responded to him. The troop are currently holding their rally in Kiambu county which is perceived to be president Ruto’s bedroom.
According to the video clip seen by the writer online, Hon Eugene Wamalwa while speaking said that he was asking himself why they were being teargased in Kiambu county yet they have been holding peaceful rallies across the country why today, then he went on ahead to say that he’s been told it’s because Kiambu is president Ruto’s backyard.

However, the residents started shouting at him ‘ Hio ni uongo’ meaning that it’s not true as he listened to them, he went on to tell them that Kiambu was perceived as the former president Uhuru’s backyard and that he believes in unity. At the same time the residents agreed with the former prime minister Raila Odinga to join him during the mass action demonstrations on Monday despite being asked not to continue with the demonstrations.
