Internationally known athlete Mokgadi Caster Semenya has won numerous gold medals for South Africa in important competitions, such as the Olympics.

Caster Semenya has had to deal with some unfavorable attention since 2009 as a result of concerns about her gender.

Semenya has persevered despite facing challenges that would break most people, and possibly one of her strengths has been her wife and family’s support.

The couple initially met in 2007. Violet mistook Semenya, who was being escorted by the anti-doping officials, for a boy.

When she noticed a boy in the restroom, she reacted by inquiring of the doping officers.

Caster retorted that she was not a boy and that she was not lost in a protective manner. Prior to starting to date, it took some time.
