Making history in Kenya Years after being charged with domestic abuse, Daniel Adongo, the first Kenyan to play in the National Football League (NFL), is now enduring a horrible existence in the US.

The horrible state that successful sportsperson goes through when depression hits hard was brought up once again when blogger Robert Alai published a video of Adongo appearing torn and out of it on social media.
According to reports, Adongo, who had signed a lucrative contract with the Indianapolis Colts in 2013, is involved in a cult, is doing drugs, and is currently homeless.

It is thought that the former rugby player was beaten by the rain in 2015 after she had been the subject of a criminal probe for domestic abuse.

The linebacker lost playing time as a result of the incident, and his organization (the Colts) waived him one week after the second police call on December 10, 2015, keeping him from playing in the game versus Jacksonville.
Adongo played either as a lock or a flanker before signing the massive contract with the NFL. He last competed in Super Rugby for the Southern Kings in the 2013 Super Rugby season.
