Currently six months along in her pregnancy, Betty Mbereko (from Mwenezi in Masvingo) is expecting her son’s child as well as her first grandchild.

Mbereko, 40, has been living with her 23-year-old son Farai Mbereko since she became a widow 12 years ago.

She reveals that she is six months pregnant and that she has chosen to “marry” her kid rather than her late husband’s younger brothers, who she claims are lusting for her.

When Betty revealed last week that the affair with her son started three years ago, a rural court was completely taken aback.

She claimed that after spending a significant amount of money to pay for Farai’s education after her husband passed away, she believed she was entitled to his money and that no other woman should be as well.

Farai declared that he was eager to wed his mother and that he would repay his grandparents for the outstanding ilobola sum that his father had left them.
