Legendary Tanzanian Gospel singer Rose Muhando’s electric performance has been described by all manner of adjectives including spine-tingling and highly charged.

However Muhando’s entry into the music industry was as contentious as the lifestyle that came with her fame. She claims that because she is the daughter of a Muslim sheikh, her father was against her converting to Christianity.
