Remember The Woman Who Killed Steven Kanumba? See What Happened To Her

One of the most well-known actors in Tanzania and all of East Africa is Steven Charles Kanumba.

He appeared in Nollywood movies and was called "Tanzania's most popular film star."

In a field that was essentially nonexistent, Kanumba grew from being an unknown performer to becoming a name that slowly but definitely spread over all of East Africa, including West Africa, where Swahili is spoken.

Despite having passed away more than ten years ago, his death has continued to be a topic of conversation throughout time.

The short but eventful career of probably the face of the burgeoning Tanzanian film industry was put to an end by the untimely death of the “lover-boy” acting phenomenon from Tanzania.

How did he die? 

The Tanzanian actor passed away immediately due to a brain concussion, which is an injury to the brain brought on by a rapid impact to the head.

When questioned about Kanumba’s death, his girlfriend actress Elizabeth Michael, widely known as Lulu, refused to admit guilt.

What happened to her? 

Elizabeth Michael was slapped with a two year jail term after she was found guilty of killing fellow actor Steven Kanumba. 

The High Court in Dar es Salaam found Elizabeth Lulu Michaels guilty of murder after she fatally pushed Kanumba against the wall.

It was reported that about 30,000 people showed up for his funeral.
